Kumon Math, Reading Success.

What parents say

Dear Parents,

My children have been attending Varsha Desai's Kumon Center for almost two years.

My oldest started when she was 5 years old and my youngest when she was 4 years old. I have seen my children and other children from Kumon have their confidence and skills level soar in the Kumon program. They are learning math and reading skills in an organized, well run program.

Varsha and her staff are committed to the kids. The atmosphere at Kumon is quiet, serious and studious. My children benefit from the twice weekly study sessions at the Kumon center. They work hard to please the teachers and are proud to get stickers and "Kumon dollars" as rewards for their achievements.

There are really two points I like to communicatewhen I am talking to people about Kumon. The first is that my husband and I consider Kumon to be a long term investment in our children's future. Both kids will finish the Math and the Reading programs at Kumon. We feel this will give then a great base of knowledge to expand on at school. We want them to be comfortable with timed work and tests. We want the mathematics to be "overlearned". We want them to be self-learners. We want them to be able to attend the college of their choice. I believe in the public school system, but I also believe in boosting their education.

The second point I like to make about Kumon is what a good influence Varsha Desai is on my children. When I walked into the Kumon center for the first time, I had a rambuctious five year old girl who wanted to learn to read. when my second daughter started at four, I would have been happy for her her just to learn to sit still in a chair! These kids immediately sensed the seriousness and calmness thet Varsha has for education. What a great influence Varsha's attiditude has been for the entire family! Kumon and school comes first at the Allen household. I've known varsha for two years and have seen her superior work ethic. No one could be more devoted to the Kumon system of learning. She is at the center workingconstantly. Varsha is committed, detail oriented, preserving, and goal oriented. She will work with you and your child to plan their education.

My kids, Jessica, age seven and a half, and Elizabeth, age five years, attend Jarman Elimentary School. Thet are both in the top percentage of their class and making their parents proud. They love school.

If you would like to know more about Kumon, I urge you to schedule an appointment to talk to Varsha. Her Kumon Center is located at 61st and Memorial. The phone number is (918) 254 5437.

Respectfully,

Denise Allen.
